Westbury Post Kits are a great option for residential railing applications, and are made from durable aluminum and feature a welded flange for easy installation. ***47" LONG POSTS ARE TYPICALLY REQUIRED AT THE TOP & BOTTOM OF STAIR RAILINGS*** Specifications: Material: Aluminum Wall thickness: 0.090" Post height: 37" or 47" Flange size: 2" Cap size: 2" Skirt/flair size: 2" What's included: 1 x Westbury Post Kit (2inx2in) 1 x 2" cap 1 x 4" skirt/flair 1 x Set of bolts and stainless steel shims Installation: Prepare the surface where the post will be installed. If installing on wood, make sure the wood is level, free of rot, and in good condition. Concrete should also be inspected and repaired if need. Drill holes into the surface where the anchors are to rest. Install screws through flange into the surface and tension. Level the post using the included leveling brackets or bars. Attach the cap and skirt/flair to the post. Note: Westbury Post Kits do not include lags or fasteners. You will need to purchase these separately.
